Ballots will be processed (i.e. signature verification; opening ballots; scanning ballots; adjudicating ballots; replicating damaged or defective ballots; and or tabulating votes) Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays, at the Millard County Clerk’s Office.
The Declaration of Filing Period has changed to Monday, February 28, 2022 through March 4, 2022, which also changes the deadline date for filing Intent to Gather Signatures to March 4, 2022. (Read the Media Advisory Notice from the LG’s Office)
The 2022 Primary Election will be a closed Primary; therefore, in order to receive a ballot, you must affiliate with a political party; or choose an open party’s ballot before the deadline (March 31, 2022).
Important Information Regarding your June 28, 2022, Primary Election Ballot
Some Political Parties have chosen to close their June 28, 2022, Primary Election. The deadline to change party affiliation from one party to a different party is Thursday, March 31, 2022.

- Affiliate with the party who has a closed primary before the deadline (Thursday, March 31, 2022); or
- Request a ballot for an open party’s primary.
- To do either option, fill out and return the attached form found by clicking on “affiliation letter” , or electronically by visiting voter.utah.gov before the deadline (March 31, 2022).
Unaffiliated Voters (a voter not affiliated with a party):
- These voters will NOT automatically receive a ballot. To receive a ballot, these voters must request a ballot, by doing one of the following:
- Affiliate with the party who has a closed primary; or
- Request a ballot for an open party’s primary.
- To do either option, fill out and return the attached form found by clicking on “affiliation letter” , or electronically by visiting voter.utah.gov before the deadline (March 31, 2022), or visit a vote center during early voting or on Election Day.
